Empowering safer streets through proactive enforcement. The mission of the Narragansett Police Department’s Traffic Committee is to diligently address violations of Rhode Island Motor Vehicle Code. By fostering community engagement, implementing innovative strategies, and prioritizing education alongside enforcement, we aim to enhance road safety, promote responsible driving behaviors, and create a culture of compliance on our roadways.  

Our committee values community input. By implementing a user-friendly traffic concern form, we invite residents to voice their traffic-related issues, whether it’s speeding, unsafe intersections, or parking concerns. This form serves as a direct channel for residents to express their experiences and observations, enabling us to prioritize and address these concerns effectively. Through transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving, we strive to create safer roadways that reflect the needs and priorities of our community.
