Voter ID

Voter ID Is intended to strengthen the public's faith in the fairness of our elections by enabling poll workers to match a voter's face to the name they give at the polls.  When you vote at your polling place, poll workers will ask you to show a current and valid ID. Acceptable photo IDs include:

  • RI driver's license
  • U.S. passport
  • ID card issued by an educational institution in the United States
  • U.S. military identification card
  • State of Rhode Island or federal government-issued ID card
  • Government-issued medical card

Polling Precincts

The Town of Narragansett contains four (4) distinct local voting districts as shown on the Town Voting District Map

  • Voting District 2001 is in Senate District 36 and House Representative District 33
  • Voting Districts 2002 is in Senate District 36 and House Representative District 33
  • Voting Districts 2003 is in Senate District 36 and House Representative District 34
  • Voting District 2004 is in Senate District 36 and House Representative District 34
