NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

“Indian Rock Farm Road Parcel/707 Point Judith Road - Minor Subdivision”

PRELIMINARY PLAN

 

Notice is hereby given that the Narragansett Planning Board will hold a public hearing to review the preliminary plan for the purpose of considering the following minor subdivision:

 

Unified development review for a preliminary plan application request of Westlakes, LLC for a 2-lot subdivision of real property entitled “Indian Rock Farm Road Parcel” located at 707 Point Judith Road, Narragansett, RI.

 

This property is identified as Assessors Plat Y-4, Lot 4 and currently supports a commercial business.  The parcel is 23.21 acres in area and is in both a B-B Zoning District and an R80 Zoning District.   The proposed 2-lot subdivision would create two parcels, one with 790,272sf of area with the existing business remaining on this parcel, and one parcel with 220,591sf of area, completely within the R80 Zoning District, proposed as a single-family dwelling. The plat is classified as a minor subdivision requiring unified development review as variances and waivers are necessary.

 

This proposal may be revised by the Planning Board as a result of further study or in response to information or testimony presented at public hearing.

Narragansett Town Hall

Board Room

6:00 pm

 

This petition is on file in the Office of Community Development in the Town Hall and may be inspected by the public during regular office hours, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

 

Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Department of Community Development at (401) 782-0632, seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the hearing date.
