A contractor working at RIDEM Roger Wheeler Beach caused a water main failure this morning which disturbed sediment and resulted discolored water in the Narragansett Point Judith Water System. The Town Water Division is flushing hydrants to withdraw dirty water. Customers may experience discolored water and lower than normal water pressure. If you are experiencing dirty water, turn off your water immediately and wait to allow us to finish flushing the system, then run a cold-water faucet until the water clears.
