RIDOH announced that it is building a pre-registration system using the existing Vaccine Interest Notification List. People can sign up for the list at portal.ri.gov. If people are not able to sign up for the Vaccine Interest Notification List online, they can call 844-930-1779.
Once someone has joined the list, RIDOH will send a notification when an appointment is available for them. Appointments will be at one of the five State-run sites: the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Sockanosset Cross Road in Cranston, Middletown, Westerly, or Woonsocket.
When an appointment opens up, RIDOH will contact you about a slot roughly two weeks in advance. RIDOH will send out notifications about appointments each Wednesday, starting April 7th. Roughly 50% of the appointments at the mass vaccination sites will go to people who have pre-registered.
