[ARCHIVED] Free Electronics Recycling and Shred Event

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING DROP OFF and FREE SHRED EVENT 

Narragansett Town Beach, North Lot 

Saturday, March 2, 2019   9:00 AM  – 12:00 Noon


Affordable Shred will be on site to shred confidential documents FREE of charge.  There is no box limit but once the truck is full, that is it for this event.


Indie  Cycle  items  accepted  NO  charge:    Computers,  laptops,  monitors,  routers,  PDA's,  cell  phones,  mice,

keyboards,  inkjet  printers,  toner  cartridges,  CD/DVD  players,  radios,  televisions,  network  equipment,  wires,

stereo  equipment,  telephones,  microwaves,  small  household  appliances,  and  acid  lead  batteries  including  auto/marine and back-ups.  

A $10 disposal fee is charged for each laser jet printer, air conditioner, dehumidifier, and other coolant containing

devices.


Not accepted: Light bulbs, single use batteries, tapes/disks, glass bowls/plates, or any hazardous materials such as

paint or broken TV tubes.


Indie Cycle, LLC, has a zero landfill policy.  We do not re-market any hard drives or data storage devices.    All electronic materials are transported to ORS a local, R2 certified recycler for processing.
