Narragansett, Rhode Island, February 7, 2011 — The Providence Engineering Society has
announced that Narragansett’s Town Engineer Jeffry Ceasrine has been named Engineer of the
Year. The organization formally presented Ceasrine the award at its annual banquet on Thursday,
February 3, 2011.
Ceasrine manages Narragansett’s Engineering Department which involves managing the town’s
capital improvement projects and reviewing plans and specifications. He is also responsible for
overseeing Narragansett’s water system and a state-of-the art wastewater treatment facility. He
has extensive background in regulatory matters and routinely works with state and federal
environmental agencies. Ceasrine began working for the Town of Narragansett over twenty-two
years as Town Engineer. During his tenure with the town, just about every public and private
project has touched his office.
