The Town of Narragansett has hired Matchpoint Water Asset
Management, a company from North Carolina, to perform leak detection survey
work on our water system. They will be starting this week. They have white pick-up
trucks with the Matchpoint logo and markings; 3 employees, all with Matchpoint
shirts and ID badges. Their work will be mostly confined to the roads, but
maybe in sidewalk areas
as well. From time to time they may need to knock on a door if they suspect a
leak in a house service – one of our Water Division employees will accompany them for any
door-to-door work.
We
anticipate this work to be completed within 2-3 weeks.
