[ARCHIVED] Residential No-cost Mattress Recycling Program

  • There is a residential no-cost mattress recycling program at Rose Hill Regional Transfer Station.  However, it is restricted to residential use only.  If you ask your rubbish removal service to pick it up, it will be at a cost to you.
  • Residents are limited to recycling 3 units/pieces per vehicle, per day
  • Attendants must check vehicle license plates, registration, OR photo ID to prove RI residency before accepting mattresses for recycling

Note: The vendor that you purchased your new mattress from will charge you a recycling fee and properly dispose of the old mattress for you.  Please consider taking advantage of this service.

Thank you for your participation in the free mattress recycling program.  If you have any questions, please contact Dori Boardman, Narragansett Recycling Coordinator, 782-0635.
