Town of Narragansett News

Posted on: February 28, 2013

FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: Snow storm debris removal will begin in few weeks. The Town of Narragansett will be clearing tree limbs/branches that have fallen into the right-of-way or been pushed there as a result of plowing.

Town will ONLY pick up woody tree debris (NOT leaves) from the right-of-way. If a tree or branch in your backyard was knocked down by the snow, it is YOUR responsibility to clear it/remove it. Please do NOT place ANY material so that it obstructs sidewalks or travel lanes.

For further information, please call 782-0687.
