Emergency Alert

Posted on: February 9, 2013

[ARCHIVED] Blizzard Nemo Cleanup Continues

Crews from all Town Departments and partners such as National Grid have worked hard overnight to open primary streets and begin to identify areas effected by power outages.

The townwide parking ban remains in place.

Please help the DPW and State DOT staff in clearing the roads by:
* Removing vehicles from roadways.
* Staying off the road unless you have an emergency.
* Shovel snow off to the side of your driveway and not into the street.
* Stay away from downed trees, limbs and wires. Consider all limbs to be LIVE and stay away.
* Please refrain from contacting the Police and Fire Departments unless you have an emergency or are in need of immediate assistance.

REPORT ALL POWER OUTAGES AND WIRES DOWN TO NATIONAL GRID AT 1-800-465-1212

Please remain patient with our staff and partners, they have been working hard to get back to normal operations..

Thank you, NEMA Staff
